When we say specific, we mean the text inside the email should be relevant to the product or service your email is promoting. For example, if you’re promoting a clothing line, your body copy might suggest they go to a website where they can find the best looking summer wear.

Your body copy should be concise yet intriguing enough to make your audience scroll down to get the full story.

To create a perfect body copy, begin with an interesting hook. Something that will make your audience want to keep reading. Then, you can support the claim you make in your subject line with logical and compelling reasons. Finally, wrap up the body copy with a call to action. For example, “If you’re looking for the best summer wear, check out this clothing line. Not only does it offer the most gorgeous styles, but it also features affordable and eco-friendly products.”
