How to Code in AWeber

Introduction

Are you looking to code something simple but don’t know where to start? Looking for a development partner? Want to build a WordPress website but don’t have the time? How about just want to learn how to code for fun? If so, then code with AWeber is for you. With AWeber, you can create automated emails that build trust and rapport with prospective customers.

Why AWeber?

As the name implies, AWeber is an email marketing service that provides a lot of useful features while being simple to use. One of its biggest selling points is how easy it is to set up. Simply log in, choose a theme, and you’re ready to go. You don’t need to worry about complicated things like creating an email template or figuring out a mail chimp syncing process. With AWeber, creating automated emails is as easy as sending out a few tweets.

Another great thing about AWeber is the flexibility of its pricing plan. It’s pretty popular among freelancers and small businesses since it offers a free plan that allows you to send up to 500 emails per month. For those looking to grow their email list quickly, this is a great option since you don’t have to worry about paying for a plan until you reach that limit. In contrast, many other email marketing platforms will request you to upgrade once you reach that limit. This is why AWeber is ideal if you’re looking to create automated emails for your blog or business.

Features

AWeber is a popular choice for those looking to code in WordPress because of its many useful features. First off, it has a built-in WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that allows you to easily design your emails. You don’t need to hunt down an HTML editor to make basic changes to the look of your emails. Another great thing about the WYSIWYG editor is that it allows you to preview your changes as you make them. This is great for those who are learning how to code or are not very confident in changing code on the fly. As an added bonus, you can use visual indicators to easily find what you’re looking for.

How To Code in AWeber

If you’re looking to code in AWeber, the first step is to log in to your account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a small cogwheel icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. To the right of the small cogwheel icon, you’ll see an ellipsis (…) button. Click on this button to create a new email.

As you can see in the image above, the process of creating an email in AWeber is quite simple. At the top of the page, you’ll see the phrase How to code in AWeber. Beneath this, you’ll see a brief instruction on where to enter your Template, Subject, and Content. You don’t need to enter content for all the fields, but if you don’t enter any content into the field, the email will be entirely empty.

On the right side of the page, you’ll see a large blue button that says Create Email. Once you click this button, the page will refresh and you’ll see a new pop-up menu with the Subject and Template you entered earlier. From here, you can select the layout of your email (HTML or plain text) as well as the image to be featured on the email’s front page. You can choose from a variety of free images or upload your own.

What Next?

After you’ve created an email in AWeber, you can hit the Send button to preview your work. If you’re happy with everything and want to send out your email, simply click the blue Send button.

If you’ve created several emails and want to send them out as a batch, you can do so by clicking the cogwheel icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and selecting the Batch Send option. Doing this will create an email for each entry you make in the WordPress editor, which you can preview before sending out your email wave.
