How to Export an AWeber Template to a WordPress Blog

If you use AWeber, you know how easy it is to set up automatic emails with content that is based on a template you already have. You can even change the template of these emails at any time. So, if you want to create a blog and use AWeber to automatically send out content to your audience, it’s best to do the following:

1. Set up your blog using Weebly

If you want to create a WordPress blog, the best platform to do so is Weebly. Not only does Weebly provide you with the perfect starter blog, but it also comes with an integrated email marketing suite that you can use to send out emails with content that is based on a template you create. Plus, if you want to do more than just email marketing, you can use the Weebly platform to build your own website with a blog or an online store (you can choose whichever one you want). With Weebly, you don’t need to worry about hosting, installing WordPress, or updating your software because the platform takes care of all of that for you. So, if you want to blog and use AWeber to automatically send out content to your audience, the choice is clear: Use Weebly (and their fabulous affiliate program!) to create your blog and set up your AWeber account. You can sign up for a free account at Weebly.com, or if you want to get started with their paid plan, you can select the $5/month option (you’ll need to verify your email address at this point). Once you have set up your blog on Weebly, you will need to verify your AWeber account and start building your audience.

2. Install WordPress on a computer or a mobile device

After you have set up your blog using Weebly, the next step is to install WordPress on a computer or a mobile device (most platforms such as Apple and Android make this process very easy). Once you have installed WordPress, you can start constructing your blog (themes are very easy to use and allow you to change the appearance of your site quickly and easily). For step-by-step instructions on how to install WordPress on a computer or a mobile device, visit WordPress.com’s website and click on the Get Started button to get to the install screen. For more information on the WordPress platform, check out the WordPress documentation located at

3. Connect your WordPress blog to your AWeber account

Once you have your blog up and running on WordPress, the next step is to connect it to your AWeber account. To do this, log in to your WordPress site and click on the Tools button in the top right-hand corner of the browser window. Then, click on the Import button under the Subscription tab of your AWeber account.

This will take you to a page that will ask you to create a new import file. Click on the Continue button.

AWeber will then walk you through the process of importing your WordPress blog. Depending on how many subscribers you have on your AWeber account, this could take a few minutes or a few hours. When the import process is complete, you will see a confirmation screen that your blog is now connected to your AWeber account.

4. Create a new email template in AWeber

Now that you have connected your WordPress blog to your AWeber account, the next step is to create a new email template in AWeber. To do this, click on the Gear button located in the top right-hand corner of the AWeber dashboard. Next, click on the Template button. AWeber will then walk you through the process of creating a new email template. When you are finished, click on the Save button at the bottom left-hand side of the Template screen.

This email template will be the basis for all of your future emails. It will decide the layout, the type of content that you include, and much more. While you are good to go with the basic email template, you can click on the Gear button again and select the Advanced Editing option to open up a new tab where you can make extensive customizations to your email.

5. Edit your email template in Word

If you are a professional writer, you can now edit your email template in Word. If you do not have the time to create a new email from scratch (which is a good idea, especially if you want a polished, good-looking email), you can use Microsoft Word to make any necessary changes to your template.

To open up your email template in Microsoft Word, click on the Gear button and select the Word Documents option from the pop-up menu. Then, click on the Open button located at the bottom of the screen. AWeber will load up Microsoft Word with your email template, which you can now edit as needed. To save your changes, simply click on the File button in the top left-hand corner of the Word window and choose to Save As. When you are finished making changes, click the OK button to return to AWeber.

6. Build out your blog posts using your email template

Once you have your email template in place, the next step is to start building out your blog posts using it. To do this, click on the Posts button in the top right hand corner of the AWeber dashboard. Then, click on the Write Post button. AWeber will then walk you through the process of writing out a few post ideas. Once you have some ideas flowing, it’s time to start blogging. To get going, click on the Publish button.

This will start the process of publishing your first post. Once it’s published, you can click on the Edit Post button and make any necessary changes to the content. When you are done making changes, click on the Save button at the bottom left-hand side of the Edit Post window. You can repeat this process as many times as needed to create new blog posts. When you are sure that you have everything you need, click the Done button at the top left-hand side of the screen. This will then take you back to the main dashboard.

7. Email marketing is easy

Last but not least, let’s not forget about email marketing.
