Open your Aweber account. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to do so. You can find this option on the left side of the screen when you click the email icon.

You can also choose to see how many people have opened your emails versus how many have clicked a link or taken some other affirmative action (e.g., added themselves to a mailing list, etc.). For our example, we’ll look at the number of people who have opened our emails.
Why Are Some Subscribers On My List?
This is a question everyone wants to know the answer to. As a marketer, you want to make sure you have the right audience for your content. While it’s always a good idea to look at demographics and psychographics, you also want to make sure you’re reaching the right people. This is why we have an email list — to ensure you’re sending your emails to the right people. In our example above, we have a list of 40,000 email addresses. If we look at the demographics, we’ll see that 40% of our email addresses come from the United States, 35% come from Germany, 10% come from the United Kingdom, and so on.
Now, you might be wondering, “Do these countries even read my emails?” Well, if we want to expand our business and grow our email list, we need to find out. We need to look at the conversion rates for these emails. So if we want to ensure that people are reading and responding to our emails, we should focus on acquiring and maintaining an audience in these countries.
How Do I Get Subscribers from These Countries?
This is a question you need to ask yourself. Do you even have an audience in these countries? Do you know how to get started? Do you have the resources to make this happen?
In our example above, we have a list of 40,000 email addresses. If we want to get these emails delivered to an audience in Germany, we need to find a way to motivate them to open our emails. So let’s say we want to send out a marketing email every month. We can either choose to do this directly through Aweber (i.e., using the 1-click method), or we can use a service like MailChimp to perform the distribution.
If we use MailChimp, we’ll have to set this up manually. So for each of the 40,000 email addresses in our list, we’ll need to create a group. Let’s call this group “A German audience” (you can name your group whatever you’d like).
After we’ve created this group, we’ll have to ensure that our emails are being delivered to this group. So if we want to send out a marketing email to our German audience every month, we’ll need to wait for this email to be delivered before we start receiving responses.
What Should I Send To My List To Get The Best Results?
If you’re new to email marketing, you might wonder what should you send to your list to get the best results. Is it important to send a discount code? An incentive to try a new product? Or maybe an offer to provide goods or services?
While you might want to send your subscribers a discount code for an opportunity to save money, you should always be sending relevant and valuable content to your list. In our example above, we have a list of 40,000 email addresses. If we want to get the best results from this list, we need to find a way to make sure our subscribers are hearing our message and engaging with our content. So for each of these 40,000 email addresses, we’ll need to find a way to make them interested in our content. We can do this two ways.
Firstly, we can provide value to them. If we want to make sure our subscribers are hearing our message, we should always be doing something relevant and exciting to build credibility. So if we want to grow our email list and make sure our emails are being opened and responded to, we should look to provide quality content that is both relevant and exciting to our audience. And to do this, we need to constantly be testing out new ideas to see what works and what doesn’t work.
