Why should you get started with Litmus Email Marketing?

So if you’re looking for a reliable free option to grow your email list, Litmus Email Marketing is the answer. We’ve evaluated and ranked the best email marketing platforms, and we found that Litmus is the clear leader in creating a free disposable email list.
Another major advantage of Litmus is that you can get started quickly and easily. Just follow the step-by-step instructions in order to set up your account. You will then be able to start collecting email addresses right away.
How to build a list using Litmus Email Marketing
Once you’re launched, all you need to do is sit back and grow your list. We will walk you through all the steps to get started, including collecting email addresses, gaining opt-in subscribers, and converting those leads into paying customers.
Let’s get started.
Step 1: Select a username and password
The first step is to select a username and password. This will be the login information you will use to access your account. You can use your full name or any other alias you may prefer. Make sure to use a strong password that includes numbers, lower-case letters, and symbols so you can remember it easily. Once you’ve logged in, click on the Settings button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
This will pop up the Settings menu. You can access your account information, marketing preferences, and opt-in forms here.
Step 2: Configure your account
You’ll now be presented with the dashboard. The dashboard is where you can configure the settings for your Litmus account. On this page, you can choose the niche you’ll be working in, the email list you’ll be using to send emails, and the design you want to use for your email campaigns. You can also decide whether you want to use a free or paid list.
The first thing you should do is select the niche you’ll be working in. The options include:
- Health Care
- Real Estate
This will be the focus of your email marketing efforts. If you’re selecting a travel niche, for example, you might want to consider focusing on booking flights and hotels. If you’re selecting a lifestyle niche, you might want to consider creating content such as how-to guides for fitness, nutrition, and wellness. Selecting the right niche is an important decision because it will determine the type of content you create, and subsequently, the success of your email marketing efforts. Once you’ve chosen your niche, you’ll be presented with a few options for the email list you’ll use to grow your business. You can use either a paid or unpaid list.
The choice is up to you. If you’re looking for short-term gains, you might choose to use an unpaid list. These are the people who signed up to receive emails from you without expecting to be kept informed about your product or service. If you’re looking for a steady stream of leads that you can convert into paying customers, you might want to consider using a paid list.
Step 3: Choose a template
The next step is to choose a template. This is the design of the email that you’ll use to send out your emails. You can choose from a huge number of stock templates, or you can create a unique one that beautifully encapsulates your brand. Let’s choose one of the stock templates in order to save time:
- Niche-Specific – Choose this if you’re focusing on one specific niche (e.g. luxury watches). This template provides you with a clean, stylish, and contemporary look that will make your audience feel informed and valued. If you’re using this template, be sure to add value to the conversation by including a call-to-action at the end of each email.
- General – Choose this template if you’re targeting a more broad audience. This template is great for those who are interested in a variety of topics. It provides you with a nice, clean look that is simple yet effective.
- Classic – This template is like the middle ground between the other two options. It provides you with a classic look that is a bit more laid back but still maintains a clean look.
Once you’ve picked your template option, click on the Create Campaign button to continue. You’ll now be presented with a form to enter your details.
Step 4: Enter your contact details
The next step is to enter your contact details. This includes your name, email address, and phone number. Remember to enter a valid email address so you can receive further instructions. You can also add a physical address if you have one.
You must have an email address for this step. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for a free email account from Google or Apple.
Step 5: Confirm your email address
The last step is to confirm your email address. You can do this by clicking on the Confirm Email button.
If you’ve done everything correctly, you’ll eventually be presented with a confirmation screen that includes a link to click on in order to activate your account. You can now start collecting email addresses.
