How to Rotate Photos in AWeber

I’d love to have a whole book shelf just filled with colourful, heart-warming books about loving your body and being happy you. But since we don’t have the time — or the money — to make that happen, let’s channel our inner child and learn how to rotate photos in AWeber.

What is rotation?

When you send a campaign email to your subscribers, the email client will show the contents of the email in reverse chronological order. So, if you want to show your latest photos first, you have to put them in the ‘to’ section of the email in advance (before you send it).

When a subscriber opens your email, they’ll see the photos in the order they’re supposed to appear.

By default, AWeber will show your photos in reverse chronological order. However, you can change that in ‘Settings’ > ‘Account’ > ‘Email Display’ > ‘Reverse Order’.

The Basics

Before we begin, let’s go over some of the basics. Make sure you’re following the correct steps and using the right tools. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can use a free trial of Pixelmator — a macro editor for images. It’s also important to use a phone that supports Safari on the Web.

The Goods

Now that you have your basics taken care of, let’s get to the good stuff. There are a few different ways to send your photos to your subscribers, and you have to pick the right one for the job. If you’ve ever used iPhoto, you’ll know how to use AWeber’s ‘Import’ feature.

The Bad

Unfortunately, not every piece of software is made equal, and AWeber isn’t one of them. While the app is free, you need an iCloud account to use it, which you can sign up for for free. If you don’t have an iCloud account, then you’ll need to pay $99 a year for exclusive Cloud Storage — a service that provides 5GB of free storage. You can’t afford to be without a Cloud Storage account if you want to use AWeber regularly.

What’s Next?

Once you’ve used the ‘Import’ feature to put your photos in AWeber, you have a few different ways to rotate them. First, you can click ‘Save’ > ‘As’ > ‘Original’ and choose a new name for your photo album. You can also click on the photo you just imported and choose ‘Edit’ > ‘Rotate’.

As you can see, AWeber gives you plenty of options when it comes to displaying your photos in the right order. No matter which option you choose, the results are always going to be fantastic.

So, what are you waiting for? Give it a try and see how easy it is to use AWeber to its fullest. You’ll be sending out beautiful emails filled with your creative genius in no time.
